Travelling to Toulouse

Hi All,

I'll be travelling to Toulouse, France for work from Apr 23 to May 3rd. The camera is coming with me of course and I will do my best to upload a shot here and there while I'm there, but I will be busy with work so I updates will not come as quickly as I wish.

Bought my first tripod yesterday! It's very nice to be able to take low-speed shots in poor light and get these kinds of results. This is a close-up shot of my Epiphone Special model guitar, using the stock lens of my camera! I can only imagine how crisp it would look with a real macro lens. || canon 350d/efs18-55 @ 55mm (cropped) | 0.125s | f/5.6 | ISO 100 

Financial District, downtown San Francisco. People lined up to watch the St Stupid Day paraders as they chanted "no more chanting!" and pointed at office workers in high-rise buildings, trying to get them to jump out of the windows. This is the result of some experimenting with macro photography on my apartment patio. The bright sunlight made it difficult to get a good exposure.
